Summarized History
Levy’s was founded in 1922 by Joe Denaburg in Birmingham, Al. The store was named after his Mother-in-law when she loaned him $2,500 to start his new business. Levy’s became quickly known for its personalized attention to it’s customers and it’s founder became known as “Cousin Joe”.
Levy’s has always been a family establishment, run and managed by several generations of the Denaburg family. Our customers are treated as close family as well, and we pride ourselves on our personal care and service.
Throughout the years Levy’s has grown into a multifaceted jewelry and luxury goods store with many services including repair, cleaning, estate liquidation and personalized design.
